The Power of Women and Girls! I had the pleasure of meeting this powerhouse - Thuso Mbedu of The Woman King at the Girl Up #GenRisingGenThriving event in LA. I’m so proud to be on the Advisory Board of Girl Up, the amazing organization of girl leaders who are not only rising to the challenges of the gender justice movement but, who are also thriving as kind & thoughtful global citizens. Thuso was our special guest and interviewed by our girl leader Amy about how we can continue to put gender justice in the forefront of our activism. The event was held at the beautiful Blackbird House with owner Bridgid Coulter. It was such a wonderful evening of education, advocacy and community-building.
