Celebrating Women Journalists

Very honored to host a discussion last night for the 7th annual International Women’s Media Foundation’s Gwen Awards named after legendary journalist Gwen Ifill. This was a celebration of women of color leaders in national newsrooms. I deeply enjoyed hearing from this year’s winner, Tasneem Raja and 2022 Courage Award winner Cerise Castle about their work bringing truth to light. The IWMF is an organization dedicated to supporting women journalists around the world with grants, fellowships, trainings, and emergency aid.
