When I think of true philanthropists, my (play) sister Holly Robinson Peete is one of the first people who comes to mind. Spending part of the weekend supporting the HollyRod Foundation and #designcare2022 was wonderful and I got to see their new facilities where #RJsPlace is located. Loved meeting the talented and beautiful Mindy Kaling at the Warner Brothers Discovery upfronts. Looking forward to seeing her new adult animated series, “Velma” on HBO Max based on the Scooby-Doo mystery series character I grew up loving. Mindy told the crowd at Upfronts, “Hopefully you notice my Velma is South Asian. If people freak out about that, I don’t care.” 😄Can’t wait to check out the show, Mindy, and Congratulations!

I’ve lived in 8 different cities in my life and, with each move, I’ve had to begin the journey of finding a church home. Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer of Faithful Central Bible Church has been my LA pastor almost as long as I’ve been living on the west coast. He and First Lady Togetta Ulmer have been dear friends for close to two decades. After service this Sunday, we spent a lovely brunch to talk about life. God has truly blessed me. 🧡💙💚
